This session (formerly Hedging Level I or Introduction to Hedging) is designed for any employee who needs to understand hedging techniques and how to apply them to marketing commodities. It is a good session for employees who are new to the business.

Advanced Grain Hedging

This half day course offers anyone with a basic understanding of hedging and risk management the opportunity to move to the next level. Beyond the fundamentals of hedging. Advanced Grain Hedging will cover the dynamics of carry and inverse markets, rolling positions, over-the-counter contracts and seasonals.

This class will look at various risk management contracts available to mitigate your company's risk, including fuel surcharge hedging and other developing contracts.

This day and half session focuses on the people aspect of the commodity marketing business. Using personality profiling to help participants understand their own work styles of customers lays the groundwork for developing exceptional work relationships with customers.
